Community Health Action Group

The Community Health Action Group (click to see members) is the core of Sigida Keneyali’s programs.

They:

  • plan socially-appropriate strategies
  • implement projects
  • advocate for resources from the community and government
There are two representatives from each of the six sectors of Sikoroni.  They are elected at community meetings every three years.  In addition to being advocates for public health across the entirety of Sikoroni, they act as peer educators for 160 people each (total of 1920).
