Anna Ninan, Executive Director
Ms. Ninan graduated from Brown
University with degrees in International
Relations,
Community Health, and Africana Studies. She has
worked with international
development and global health initiatives in
Ecuador, India, and Ethiopia. As a
co-founder of Generation Citizen, she has
extensive experience with youth
mobilization and community organizing. As
Executive Director she is responsible for
crafting the Mali Health's strategic vision,
programs, and fundraising.
Devon Golaszewski, Programs Director
Ms. Golaszewski graduated from Wesleyan
University with a degree in History and a focus
on Africa. She has extensive health and
governance experience in West Africa: in from
2008-2009 she served as a project coordinator
for Mali Health, and in 2010 she received a
Fulbright to study political identity in
northern Cameroon. Ms. Golaszewski is fluent in
both Bambara and French. As Mali Health's
Programs Director, she oversees programs
operations and staff.
Diakaridia Traore (MD), Medical Director
Dr.
Traore has worked extensively with community
health worker programs across
Mali. As the former Chief of Medicine in a
rural Malian hospital, Dr. Traore
coordinated all government health outreach
activities in the region. As Mali Health's
Medical Director, he coordinates support for
the Sikoro-Sourakabougou clinic and provides
medical oversight to our Action for Health
program.
Adama Kouyate,
Radio Coordinator/Programs
Manager
Mr. Kouyate received his Master's degree in English from the University of Bamako in 2010, and was awarded a prestigious pre-Fulbright scholarship to study English at the University of Ohio. Mr. Kouyate is responsible for Mali Health's community health radio program, researching and co-producing Radio Sigida Joli.
Dramane Diarra, Action Training Coordinator
Prior
to joining Mali Health's staff, Mr. Diarra
worked as a peer educator and literacy
instructor for the Community Association of
Mekin-Sikoro (CAMS). He has extensive
experience in community mobilization and is a
life-long Sikoro resident. He currently
coordinates Mali Health's Action Training
program as well as our FrontlineSMS:Medic
system.
Baye Traore,
Community Health Workers
Coordinator
Baye Traore has a degree in Socio-Anthropology
from the University of Bamako.
He has seven years of experience working as a
volunteer facilitator for a
community listening center for children and
youth in disadvantaged
circumstances. Born in Mekin-Sikoro, Baye
coordinates Mali Health's Community Health
Workers team.
